About Ernst Topitschnig
As father of 2 grown-up sons, Ernst Topitschnig banks on trust, respect, accountability, loyalty and honesty. While he managed to build up an ample international network through his career and activities in various business associations he trains his strategic skills with chess. Besides abiding physical fitness through jogging, swimming and skiing he passionately plays golf as a method to train self-discipline and humbleness. According to Ernst Topitschnig “Playing golf is the best way to get an impression of a person’s character and personality within a few minutes”.
Before starting his international career, Ernst Topitschnig graduated from marketing studies at the University of Business in Vienna. In addition, he attained an MBA at the IMADEC University of Vienna, the University of Austin, Texas and the Business School of Orlando, Florida. His master thesis dealt with business expansion through franchising with the title “Franchising – The Golden Bridge for Business Development”.
His occupational career leads him through positions in various international companies like Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc. (Sales and Marketing Manager Europe), KWS Austria Saat GmbH (Director of South-East Europe Operations), Pinus™ TKI, Slovenia (Director of Business Development Europe), Nuseed Europe Ltd. and Nuseed d.o.o. in UK and Serbia (General Director).
